Board of Scholars

The JWI Board of Scholars is a collection of the most devoted regular attendees of our Senior Seminars.  These leading scholars offer informal advice for the topics to be discussed at future Senior Seminars. Additionally, these scholars identify intellectual "fellow travelers" who see the restoration of Natural Law as key to informing the work of lawyers, judges, and legal scholars.

Government, in my humble opinion, should be formed to secure and to enlarge the exercise of natural rights of its members, and every government, which has not this in view, as its principal object, is not a government of the legitimate kind.
— James Wilson, Lectures on Law, 1790
