Prof. Daniel Mahoney—"The New Religion of Humanity: Limitless Relativism and No Moral Ground for Political Life"

On Friday, May 3rd, the James Wilson Institute hosted a program featuring Professor Daniel Mahoney of Assumption College. The lecture, titled "The New Religion of Humanity: Limitless Relativism and No Moral Ground for Political Life", was held at the Kirby Center of Hillsdale College in Washington, D.C. 

Prof. Mahoney is Professor of Politics at Assumption College. He received his B.A. from the College of Holy Cross and his M.A. and Ph.D. from the Catholic University of  America. He is Associate Editor of Perspectives on Political Science and Book Review Editor of Society magazine. He is author of many books, including the critically acclaimed Aleksandr Solzhenitsyn: The Ascent from Ideology. His most recent book, from which this lecture is derived, is The Idol of Our Age: How the Religion of Humanity Subverts Christianity.
